Please note: for payment protection reasons we will only deliver to your billing address. We can make certain exceptions to this rule but in order to do this you will need to contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org or 01728 768976).
Goods must be signed for by someone over the age of 18.
We are now able to offer a local delivery service to much of East Anglia including Ipswich, Norwich and everywhere in-between. We carry out these deliveries ourselves which means we tailor delivery around your needs.
For delivery orders we will phone or email you after place your order (usually within 24 hours) to agree with you a date and time for you to receive your goods. You may wish to enter your preferred dates and times in the comments box during checkout so that we can best accommodate you.
Where can we deliver to?
We currently deliver to all IP and some NR, CB and CO postcodes. Please see below our delivery areas:
To correlate to the prices below, "Zone 1" is shown in green, "Zone 2" is yellow and "Zone 3" is gold.
If your postcode is not listed below then unfortunately we don't typically deliver to your area. If you're shown in the white areas on the above map (all CB postcodes and all other NR and CO postcodes not listed below) and would like your order delivered please contact us as we may still be able to arrange delivery for you.
What is the minimum order and cost for delivery?
Delivery is only available on orders of £25 and over. Payment must be made before dispatch, therefore we do not accept cash on delivery orders. The cost of delivery is automatically calculated depending on your postcode and the total cost of your order (minus any discounts), as per the following:
"ZONE 1" - Addresses with IP15, IP16 or IP17 postcode:
For orders between £25 - £49.99, delivery cost = £10
For orders between £50 - £99.99, delivery cost = £5
For orders of £100 and over, delivery cost = £0
"ZONE 2" - Addresses with IP5, IP10, IP11, IP12, IP13, IP18, IP19, NR33 or NR34 postcode:
For orders between £25 - £49.99, delivery cost = £15
For orders between £50 - £99.99, delivery cost = £10
For orders of £100 - £199.99, delivery cost = £5
For orders of £200 and over, delivery cost = £0
"ZONE 3" - NR1 to NR9, NR13 to NR18, NR29 to NR32, NR35, CO11 and all other IP postcodes not mentioned above:
For orders between £25 - £49.99, delivery cost = £20
For orders between £50 - £99.99, delivery cost = £15
For orders of £100 - £199.99, delivery cost = £10
For orders of £200 - £299.99, delivery cost = £5
For orders of £300 and over, delivery cost = £0
Why so expensive?
Fireworks are classed as ‘dangerous goods’, explosives in fact, and this makes transporting fireworks for business use more complicated and indeed costly. The rules and regulations regarding the carriage of dangerous goods is 1000+ pages long and as a business we are proud to be compliant so that you can be safe in the knowledge that your products are being delivered safely. However, insurance for firework delivery and the special UN boxes (called cartons), labelling and packing required to transport fireworks any distance is all costly. This is all of course in addition to the usual costs of time and fuel. Alternatively you can collect your order from our office in Saxmundham for free.
What are the timescales for delivery?
Please leave a note in the comments box at the checkout with the best dates and times to have your order delivered so that we can try and best accommodate you. We endeavour to deliver your order as quickly as possible - and may even be able to deliver to you that very same day - however please allow 5 working days from when you place your order, especially in the busy November and December seasons. We are able to deliver 7 days a week with early morning and evening delivery slots also available if this is easier for you.
We will phone and email you in advance to confirm your delivery date and time. If you have not heard from us within 3 days of placing your order please feel free to give us a call just in case something has gone amiss. Please also note that goods must be signed for by someone over the age of 18.
Failed delivery attempts:
If we try to deliver to your billing address at the agreed delivery time (which we would have phoned and emailed you about in advance) and nobody is present at the address, or if there is no-one over 18 to sign for the goods, then we will call you to let you know about the failed delivery attempt, and where possible sort it out there and then. We deliver orders ourselves and will try and work around your time schedule to make delivery as easy and seemless as possible, so we ask that you are there when we mutually agree a date and time.
If we are unable to deliver your order we will have to return your order back to our storage unit. We'll then try and phone you to arrange a re-delivery date and time, however please note that we reserve the right to charge you for each delivery attempt. If after a failed delivery you would rather collect your order from our registered office address in Saxmundham then you are welcome to. If at this point you do not wish to collect or you do not collect your goods within 14 days of the last delivery attempt then we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order minus the costs for the failed deliveries.
When will we be able to deliver nationally?
As a small start-up firework business this isn't something we can feasibly offer right now, but this is an area we are working on and we hope to offer national delivery later in the future via a licenced dangerous goods courier.
