IMPORTANT NOTICE: Firework deliveries must be signed for by someone over the age of 18.
We offer a local delivery service to much of East Anglia including Ipswich, Norwich and everywhere in-between. We carry out deliveries ourselves which means we can better deliver around your requirements including same day, evening and weekend delivery at no extra charge.
For delivery orders we will phone or email you after place your order (usually within 24 hours) to agree with you a date and time for you to receive your order. You may wish to call us or enter your preferred dates and times in the comments box during checkout so that we can best accommodate you.
Where can we deliver to?
We currently deliver to all IP and some NR, CB and CO postcodes. See our delivery zones below:
For the prices below, "Zone 1" is shown in green, "Zone 2" is yellow, "Zone 3" is gold and "Zone 4" is white.
If your postcode isn't listed below then unfortunately we don't typically deliver to your area. However, if you'd like your order delivered please contact us directly as we may still be able to arrange delivery for you.
What is the minimum order and cost for delivery?
The cost of delivery is automatically calculated at checkout depending on your postcode and the value of your order. To make the most of our social distancing delivery service at the start of Covid-19, we deducted £5 off our delivery costs and this change is now permanent. The below shows the current delivery prices:
"ZONE 1" - Addresses with IP15, IP16 or IP17 postcode:
- Orders of £10 - £49.99, delivery = £5
- Orders of £50 and over, delivery = £0
"ZONE 2" - Addresses with IP5, IP10, IP11, IP12, IP13, IP18, IP19, NR33 or NR34 postcode:
- Orders £25 - £49.99, delivery = £10
- Orders £50 - £99.99, delivery = £5
- Orders of £100 and over, delivery = £0
"ZONE 3" - NR1 - NR9, NR13 - NR18, NR29 - NR32, NR35, CO11 - CO16 + all other IP postcodes:
- Orders of £50 - £99.99, delivery = £15
- Orders of £100 - £199.99, delivery = £10
- Orders of £200 - £299.99, delivery = £5
- Orders of £300 and over, delivery = £0
"ZONE 4" - CO1 to CO10, NR10 to NR28, CB1 to CB11 and CB22 to CB25 postcodes:
- Orders of £100 - £199.99, delivery = £15
- Orders of £200 - £299.99, delivery = £10
- Orders of £300 - £399.99, delivery = £5
- Orders of £400 and over, delivery = £0
NOTE: Payment must be made before dispatch, therefore we do not accept cash on delivery orders.
Why so expensive?
Fireworks are classed as ‘dangerous goods’, explosives in fact, and this makes transporting fireworks for business use more complicated and indeed costly. The rules and regulations regarding the carriage of dangerous goods is 1000+ pages long and as a business we are proud to be compliant so that you can be safe in the knowledge that your products are being delivered safely. However, insurance for firework delivery and the special UN boxes (called cartons), labelling and packing required to transport fireworks any distance is all costly. This is all of course in addition to the usual costs of time and fuel. Alternatively you can collect your order from our office in Saxmundham for free.
What are the timescales for delivery?
Please leave a note in the comments box at the checkout with the best dates and times to have your order delivered so that we can try and best accommodate you. We endeavour to deliver your order as quickly as possible - and may even be able to deliver to you that very same day - however please allow 5 working days from when you place your order, especially in the busy November and December seasons. We are able to deliver 7 days a week with early morning and evening delivery slots also available if this is easier for you.
We will phone and email you in advance to confirm your delivery date and time. If you have not heard from us within 3 days of placing your order please feel free to give us a call just in case something has gone amiss. Please also note that goods must be signed for by someone over the age of 18.
Failed delivery attempts:
If we try to deliver to your billing address at the agreed delivery time (which we would have phoned and emailed you about in advance) and nobody is present at the address, or if there is no-one over 18 to sign for the goods, then we will call you to let you know about the failed delivery attempt, and where possible sort it out there and then. We deliver orders ourselves and will try and work around your time schedule to make delivery as easy and seemless as possible, so we ask that you are there when we mutually agree a date and time.
If we are unable to deliver your order we will have to return your order back to our storage unit. We'll then try and phone you to arrange a re-delivery date and time, however please note that we reserve the right to charge you for each delivery attempt. If after a failed delivery you would rather collect your order from our registered office address in Saxmundham then you are welcome to. If at this point you do not wish to collect or you do not collect your goods within 14 days of the last delivery attempt then we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order minus the costs for the failed deliveries.
When will we be able to deliver nationally?
As a small start-up firework business this isn't something we can feasibly offer right now, but this is an area we are working on and we hope to offer national delivery later in the future via a licenced dangerous goods courier.
